Brugel, the Brussels energy regulator, describes Infor GazElec as a free and independent service set up by the Brussels-Capital Region for all Brussels consumers. Infor GazElec says it is independent of every supplier and treats your questions confidentially.

You can go to Infor GazElec to compare and choose an electricity or gas contract, to understand a bill such as an unexpectedly high annual settlement, to arrange your energy when you move house, or for questions about meters. If you are struggling to pay, it can help with debts and the threat of a cut-off, and explain protected-customer status and the social tariff. Advisers see people by appointment; the website lists the phone number and opening hours.
