Check your roof on the Brussels solar map
The Brussels solar map gives a first, non-commercial estimate of what your roof could do with solar panels or a solar water heater. Anyone can use it, and you can pass the report on to an installer.

Bruxelles Environnement's solar map (geodata.environnement.brussels/client/solar) gives a first estimate of the usable solar potential of every roof in the region, both for solar panels that make electricity and for a solar water heater. For your roof it estimates the CO₂ avoided, the financial gain over 10 years and the payback time. Anyone can use it; the results are open data and the tool has no commercial aim.
The figures are indicative. The map does not check whether your roof is strong enough to carry panels for 25 years, and it does not see shade from chimneys or trees, only from buildings. To refine the estimate, send the report to an installer.
Insulate the roof before you put panels on it; Homegrade offers free help with that. For systems above 12 kWp, the map points you to the Facilitateur Bâtiments Durables or directly to an installer.
