An association of co-owners (VME) can get a renovation coach through Mijn VerbouwBegeleiding, organised by the Energiehuizen. The coach gives free, independent advice on the most suitable energy-saving investments in the common parts, such as high-efficiency glazing, roof insulation or a heat pump, and helps with requesting and comparing quotes and with loans.
For energy-saving works there are no income conditions and no minimum number of units. Coaching for solar panels on the building has its own conditions, so ask about them.
The syndic or a co-owner can contact the Energiehuis for your municipality, which you find with the postcode search on vlaanderen.be. It checks whether coaching can start. Take the advice to the general meeting, where the co-owners decide.
