Solar panels on a shared roof usually feed the common meter; the surplus can be shared or sold to residents with a digital meter, managed by the association of co-owners or another manager registered with Fluvius.

In a building with at least two units, residents can share green power produced on the building, and it may also be sold. Anyone can take the initiative: a tenant, a co-owner or the association of co-owners. The sharing is run by a manager, which can be the association of co-owners, the owner if there is none, or a third party.
Solar panels on the roof are usually connected to the common meter. Their power first goes to the common areas and only the surplus can be shared. Each participant needs their own digital meter and their own electricity contract. The manager registers the sharing in Mijn Fluvius and chooses how the power is divided; it is then shared per quarter hour once every participant has agreed.
Sharing saves only on the energy part of the price: network tariffs and levies are still paid on shared power, and some suppliers or managers charge fees. Compare suppliers with the V-test and agree the manager's costs in advance.
